Diablo 4's Enchantment system offers many possibilities for upgrading equipment and strengthening weapons and armor through adding aspect and rune sockets to equipment.

Acquiring runes is an integral component of gameplay in Sanctuary: Legends. Runes can be found throughout, with the highest chances of dropping occurring in Kurast Undercity.

Weapons

Diablo 4's Weapons and Armor Affix System is an integral feature that enables players to customize and upgrade their gear further. Players can take legendary or set diablo 4 items to the Tempering Anvil and apply affixes that increase its stats; this allows them to find combinations that best suit their playstyle while increasing combat power.

Runes and Runewords are an exciting new feature introduced in the Vessel of Hatred expansion. They allow for further character customization, replacing up to four traditional gems in equipment with potency buffs and skills that greatly expand combat potential.

Armor

Armor is an essential piece of equipment in Diablo 4. It protects a character from melee attacks, can be upgraded with gems, and there are five kinds - helmet, chest, gloves, boots, and pants. Each has different stats so choosing one that best matches your build can make your character stronger while helping it outlive its enemies.

Runes can help your armor stand out. Not only are these runes useful in increasing defenses and making it look cooler; but their use does require an item slot.

Elixirs

Elixirs are consumable diablo 4 items that provide your character with one-time effects for 30 minutes, such as increasing attack speed or critical chance or providing a 5% XP bonus. Elixirs can come in handy as you fight against the hellspawn terrorizing Sanctuary.

Elixirs can be found both as drops from enemies and randomly when opening chests throughout Sanctuary. Dungeon chests or those related to specific events have an increased chance of yielding an Elixir, than general chests.

Craft elixirs at any major town hub by unlocking it through a Priority Quest available after reaching level 10. Craft anything from weak healing potions to Elixir of Advantages as desired!

Runes

Runes are magical tools used to connect with both the universe and your unconscious mind. Made from various materials ranging from wood and stone to pebbles, crystals and metal; many people carry around small sets of diablo 4 runes as a tool for communication between themselves and their intuition in regards to particular issues or questions they wish to focus on at any given time.
