Following a flurry of criticism that was directed at Activision Blizzard for its handling of WoW?Cataclysm?Classic: Reforged The company has released an apology to the players and has outlined a few patches in the process of being developed. Update: Blizzard has released the first patch, and there's the release of a new patch.[Read more]

WoW?Cataclysm?Classic community manager Randy "Kaivax" Jordan took to the forums of the company to discuss the plans of Blizzard for Reforged and stated that they are "fully committed to the game [and that of the WoW?Cataclysm?Classic community] for many years to be." This includes the preparation of the patch that is scheduled to launch in the next week. It will fix mismatched shading and color modules as well as audio and portrait animation issues, UI fixes, and many more.

But, most notably, Jordan is adamant about the controversy over cutscenes. Many gamers have expressed concern that certain cutscenes did not meet the standards of the quality of what Blizzard previously showed at BlizzCon 2018. Jordan stated that the absence of animated cutscenes that were re-animated was in essence, to keep the original concept in WoW?Cataclysm?Classic intact.

"[W]e wanted the cutscenes that are in-game to drift away from the initial games," Jordan said. "We did a bit deeper into the thinking process behind the game at the event but the key takeaway is that the campaigns are one of the greatest stories of WoW?Cataclysm?Classic history, and we'd like to preserve the original spirit that is WoW?Cataclysm?Classic and allow players to revisit these memorable moments exactly as they were (albeit recreated with new animations and higher-quality design)."

"[W]e would like to express our sorry for buy WoW cataclysm Gold  those that didn't receive the experience you wanted and we'd like to tell you how we plan to handle what's in store in the future."
